Abqa began with a simple argument between two friends.
We're Malik and Kamran. Somewhere between admiring things we couldn't quite justify buying and settling for things we didn't really love, we kept asking the same question: why should beautiful and functional cost a fortune? We never found a good answer — so we started Abqa to prove there wasn't one.
We're the sort of people who care as much about how a thing is made as how it looks, and we refuse to choose between the two. Good design and real function, at a price that doesn't ask you to compromise — we think you can have the best of both worlds, and everything we make is an attempt to prove it.
Abqa is Arabic for eternal. It's the standard we hold ourselves to: a short, considered list of things — attars, leather, the pieces worth keeping for years — designed properly, made to work, and priced so that keeping good things around you isn't an occasion.
The mark is a snowflake, because a snowflake is what eternal looks like when you can hold it: one rule, repeated, never quite the same twice. That's how we like to build — carefully, and always a little differently.
We're only just getting started, and we're glad you're here.
